I EMBARKED ON MY PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY A DECADE AGO, AND FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS, I’VE BEEN DEEPLY INVOLVED IN THE ENCHANTING WORLD OF WEDDINGS. MY STYLE? THINK VINTAGE NOSTALGIA, REMINISCENT OF SCENES FROM ANNE OF GREEN GABLES & THE SECRET GARDEN. I married my wonderful Husband and rebranded to Gallery Guthrie and with his support and encouragement I've been able to make a career for myself beyond my wildest dreams
My business at the time (Lauren Morehouse Photography) started to absolutely take off and I was able to quit my 3 jobs to focus on this full time!
While sitting in a figure drawing class at Alfred University, I answered a phone call in front of the class (punishment for having my phone out) where I landed a huge gig. My professor told me to drop out and pursue photography full time
I said YES to every opportunity that came my way and started taking weddings
My mom bought me my first hobby camera and I proceeded to annoy every single one of my high school classmates until I could take their photos
